It is our intention to look this Spring at launching two PhD bursaries in a relevant Physics discipline to our R&D
and one in Quantum Computing/RF Engineering. We are currently exploring a number of discussions with Universities which have
the calibre of germane Research that would be ideal locations for such Bursaries.
It is also a keen aspiration
to embark from Spring onwards on two science incubation projects to stimulate schools and colleges to engage on science projects
to develop the interest, skills and abilities our UK Science and Engineering companies so need in the UK. This will not be
passing activity - but a long-term objective for the company to grow and develop this, as this is crucial for the country's
future.
It is our intention by 2016 to offer an internal-only
Sir Frank Adcock award and by 2017 to offer internally two awards that are highly prestigious for outstanding work and achievements.
They will be the
Sir Barnes Wallis and
Tommy Flowers awards.
Whilst there are many other sources of funding the Direct Gov Page for
Bursaries, Scholarships and Awards is worth looking at - it is updated yearly so re-navigate the site to look at more options and information.
